See the separate topic in the accomodation forum for the lodgingd İ used. Excellent weather from March 9 to March 17, also March 19, but in the fırst days temperatures close to 0 C at night. Light rain on March 18 and 20. Start from Ovacik. Day 1: Faralya 4 hours walk (not including stops) The tımes indicated ın the book are way exagerated but are not consıstent. On some legs İ do 50% better on other segments only 20% better. Day 2: Gey 6 hours 15 Stage 4a: not seen the markersl just after Alinca. Continued on the road till the next outcrop where it's easy to walk down to the trail. Day 3: camp in the forest after Pydnaı 6 hours 25 Stage 6: no markers trail not clear when arriving at the top of the small pass after Gavuragılı. I dropped down straight to the road cross country from the pass, short and not too difficult. Pydnai: all entrances and exıts have been closed by branches by local shephards. Just after the beach the trail is under 30 cm of water for 300 metres. İ just crossed it. Day 4: 2 hours 30 to Xanthos. After Xanthos, went directly to Patara by dolmus then 30 mınutes walk. Didn't hike stage 6. Day 5: Patara to Kalkan 4 hours by stage 7 in reverse. Didn't hike stage 8. No obvious intersection of stages 7 and 8 in Delıkkemer as in the book. Day 6: camp just after Tartali. 6 hours 50 Stage 11: Tartali not well marked on the map (otherwise first class), is 2 km further East. Day 7: Cukurbag 6 hours 10 Day 8: Kas 2 hours Day 9: Bogazcık 6 hours 5 Stage 14: just followed the markers by the upper route, didn't notıce the lower route. Stage 15: you must retrace your way for a few hundred meters from Lıman Agızı. 1 km further you must cross a fence twice. Day 10: Ucagız 4 hours 50 Stage 16: No markers across the Appolonia hill. Day 11: Demre 4 hours 5 on stage 17 + 1 hour on the road to Demre
