Trekking In Turkey

Turkey has an extraordinarily rich flora, with over 14,000 plant species, of which many are endemic. The new Kaçkar book has a set of flower photos and an extended section on the flora. The new St Paul book will have the same.

Greentours (www.greentours.co.uk) run natural history holidays in the Egirdir or Taurus area, Lycia and in the Kaçkar. You will see native and migrating birds, orchids and bulbs, other flowers and vegetation, butterflies and even some mammals and reptiles. Contact Ian Green at enquiries@greentours.co.uk for information.
