As part of the Italy Greece to Turkey on foot project, the CRS have produced guides to some of the new sections of the Via Eurasia route.
You can obtain guides to Mysia Ways, a network of walking and bicycling routes in Nilüfer, just west of Bursa, based on the village of Misi. In this area, Nilüfer municipality has not only waymerked and signposted many day-walks and cycle rides, but also developed the village as a hub for weekend activities. Already restaurants featuring home cooking are welcoming visitors both here and in other villages nearby. Soon accommodation in a restored house, run by local women, will be available for weekend visitors.
Misi is close to Gölyazı, the ancient city of Apolyont, on lake Ulubat, and the route run both close to the lake and on the wooded slopes above the plain. Villagers are welcoming their weekend visitors, and cafes and local shops are busy.
If you would like the English version of the guide book t the walks, you can order it from this site, for the cost of only the postage. The Turkish version is available in Misi village.
